About me
My name is Kallan Morano. I am a 20 year old junior at the University of Oregon currently studying Finance and Economics. I was born in Arlington, Texas, and lived there my whole life, until I moved to Oregon to attend college.
My hobbies and interests are sailing, football, and soccer. Having family from the east coast was always a recipe for me to end up on the water, which could explain my passion for sailing. I have been sailing with family ever since I was young, and I don't plan on stopping any time soon. Sports have also always been a big part of my life, and the two that I enjoy watching and playing the most are football and soccer. Specifically, I watch the Dallas Cowboys and FC Barcelona.
Hometown
Arlington, Texas, is not known for many things. One landmark that it does have, however, is the Cowboys Stadium. Arguably one of the more beautiful football stadiums in the National Football League, this stadium is the pride and joy of Arlington.
While the football stadium is certainly the highlight of Arlington, there are other parts of the city that made it a joy to grow up in. The food is certainly one of the many bonuses of living in Arlington, as we have a strong presence of Southern cooking and Tex-Mex culture. Along with great eating, Arlington also hosts amusement parks such as Six Flags and Hurricane Harbor.
